Registration and activation process – How it works!

Using Sofortmelder is simple and efficient. To use our digital service for immediate reporting and eAU queries, you must register once and activate your clientship. Here you can find out step by step how the process works.

Registration - Create your account         

1. Go to our website and click on "Register now". 
2. Enter your email address and a secure password. 
3. Confirm your email address by clicking on the link in the confirmation email.
4. Log in to your account and complete your company profile.

Tip: If you do not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder!

Enter your company number & apply for clientship

1. After registering, you will be asked to enter your company number. 
2. We will apply for client status with the ITSG (SV reporting portal) for you so that you can submit your reports digitally. 
3. You will receive a letter by post with your activation code within 2-3 working days.

Important note: If the activation code has not arrived after seven days, please contact the SV-Meldeportal hotline team directly at: 📞 069 2474978402 (have your company number ready)

Service times: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. - 5:00p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (excluding regional (Hesse) and national holidays)

Note: If you already have SV-Meldeportal access, you can log in directly via Activate Elster online.

Activating your account

1. As soon as you have received the activation code by post, log into your account again.
2. Enter the code to activate the client.
3. That's it! Your account is now fully activated and you can get started right away.
