Does the law firm need to integrate Sofortmelder into DATEV or Lexware?

Yes. Transmission is handled as a DEUEV-compliant digital submission. Sofortmelder is GDPR compliant and its servers are located in Germany. After each submission, the employer receives a PDF confirmation as proof.

What happens if a client does not submit on time?
